Moorhead Police Department: Body pulled from Red River

(Moorhead, MN) -- The Moorhead Police Department is confirming a body has been pulled from the Red River.

Officials say the body was found on the shoreline of the Red River near the 1000 block of 7th Street North. First responders say the body appears to have been in the water for a "significant period of time". The body was recovered and sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, which will also include positive identification of the deceased.
