(Fargo, ND) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol and the Cass County Sheriff's Office are hosting their annual holiday food and toy drive.
"We're going to be standing out front all day collecting toys from anybody that wants to stop by and donate and give us whatever they can," said Trooper Darin Malafa.
Malafa says law enforcement and first responders will be accepting donations of new toys, clothing, non-perishable foods, and financial donations to purchase toys for children.
He says all collected items will be distributed to local families in need.
The food and toy drive happens this Saturday at the south Fargo Walmart from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
