I-29 from Canadian border to Grand Forks reopens

(Grand Forks, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the North Dakota Highway Patrol, has reopened I-29 from the Canadian border to Grand Forks.

The interstate was closed at 3:15 a.m. by the Highway Patrol due to blowing snow and icy road conditions.

Ice continues to impact road conditions across ND and motorists are urged to drive slowly and carefully and extend the distance between vehicles.

I-94 westbound from Jamestown to Steele is closed due to icy roads.
