(Fargo, ND) -- West Fargo Public Schools Superintendent Beth Slette says a new effort is now underway aimed at securing funding to build new schools and improve existing campuses.

"Our focus really now is on gathering stakeholder feedback, spending more time up front, really getting to know our people and what they desire for our future in West Fargo schools," said Slette.

A renamed tasked force called "Facility Planning 2.0" is exploring the possibility of putting a new bond referendum before voters either during the upcoming general election or during a special election in 2025.

Slette made the comments during a chamber-sponsored event in Moorhead this morning focused on the future of K through 12 education.
