(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police Chief Dave Zibolski was asked if his call for a new police department headquarters is a need or a want.
"This building is not four years old. It's probably 20,30 years old or more. It's not a police facility. It was a building with more space that they put the police department into," said Zibolski.
Zibolski says their current building "is not designed to function as a police building".
The chief recently put forth a proposal to the city commission requesting funding for a new, larger building.
