(Fargo, ND) --  A Mapleton woman won't serve any jail time in connection with a golf cart crash that killed 37-year-old Ashley Tangedal last year.

Authorities say 43-year-old Erin Brousseau was under the influence when she was driving the golf cart, and she pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment last Friday. While a judge sentenced her to just under a year in jail, 357 of those days were suspended with credit for 3 days previously served. However, Brousseau must complete a chemical dependency evaluation and two years of supervised probation.
