Fargo based marketing firm first North Dakota business recognized by National LGBT Chamber of Commerce

(Fargo, ND) -- A small creative marketing firm in Fargo called ABOVO is now the first business in North Dakota to be recognized as an LGBTBE.

The acronym stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Business Enterprise, which is a certification handed out by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The certification recognizes businesses that are primarily run by members of the LGBTQA plus community.

ABOVO's owner says diversity is a powerful tool for approaching problems and challenges, and that the certification is a celebration of that.
