DEA wants everyday to be drug "Take Back Day"

(Fargo, ND) -- The Drug Enforcement Administration is asking the public to make every day drug "Take Back Day".

"By removing these pills from your home you are removing that temptation for other people who may want to attempt to, or who may want to experiment basically," said DEA spokesperson Emily Murray.

Murray says there are hundreds of collection sites set up across North Dakota and Minnesota where unused and unwanted medications can be safely disposed of year round.

They're set up at places like law enforcement offices, pharmacies, hospitals and businesses.

You can find a list of locations online at TakeBackDay.com.
