China rejects NASA accusation of possible Moon takeover

(Beijing) -- China is blasting NASA Administrator Bill Nelson for saying China might take over the moon.

In an interview with a German newspaper published over the weekend, Nelson said, "We must be very concerned that China is landing on the moon and saying 'It's ours now and you stay out.'

Nelson said China's space program is a military operation. A Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said today this isn't the first time Nelson has ignored the facts and spoken irresponsibly about China.
