(Hennepin County, MN) -- Former Hennepin County Sheriff Dave Hutchinson is facing scrutiny after collecting more than 120-thousand dollars while on paid leave for the past ten months.
Hutchinson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DWI in December 2021 after an incident near Alexandria and began paid leave five months later.
The paid leave was related to an internal investigation into his conduct as sheriff.
He recently returned to his position as a Metro Transit Police sergeant.
