(Duluth, MN) -- A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit regarding a high school football player who was sexually assaulted during a hazing incident.

Parents of a Proctor High School football player filed a suit last year, alleging the coaches, district and superintendent failed to stop a known hazing practice. Their son was reportedly held down by other players while he was assaulted with a toilet plunger outside the locker room. According to court documents, the settlement was reached last Thursday, and although it remains confidential, documents say the "matter is dismissed with prejudice."
