(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Grand Forks man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for murder. Last November, a jury convicted Kindi Jalloh of the murder of 67-year-old Douglas Elgert, who was found stabbed and beaten to death in his apartment in 2022. He and Jalloh had reportedly been living together.
Investigators say DNA evidence and fingerprints linked Jalloh to the crime, and he was sentenced on Monday.
