Some North Dakota communities set temperature records

(Dickinson, ND)  --  Communities in western and central North Dakota have posted record breaking temperatures during the arctic blast.

Dickinson residents have been hit the hardest with a brutal 70-below wind chill recorded at 4:40 Saturday morning.

The air temperature was 33-below-zero with a 29 mile per hour wind.

It wasn't much better in Minot, Williston or Bismarck which saw wind chill indices in the minus-60-degree range on Saturday.
