(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota University System leadership is proposing a change that would make it so college presidents would work under a three-year contact instead of yearly reviews.

The change was proposed by NDUS Chancellor Mark Hagerott, who cited reduced stress as a key reason for the proposal. Other changes were discussed by the State Board of Higher Education including increasing pay of college presidents, equalizing their housing - because some don't have housing provided to them, and other similar provisions.
