(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar could be facing a tougher re-election campaign than her previous years.

This is according to a survey done by KSTP of 1,594 potential voters. 49% of respondents said they would vote for Klobuchar, 33% supporting a generic "Republican Opponent", and the remaining 19% either preferring another candidate or remaining undecided. In Klobuchar's previous elections in 2006, 2012, and 2018, she won by a minimum 20%.

An opponent has announced for the GOP, with Navy Veteran and Banker Joe Fraser announcing as her ballot opponent.
