(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesotans and other voters across the country will be holding presidential nomination primary elections today.

The primary allows voters to determine who will be on the general ballot in November's general election between all possible candidates for president. A narrowed ballot will then be created for the November election. More information about the primary process can be found by clicking here

Most voting locations are open between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. today for the election. Voters will need ID and proof of address to vote.
