(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer is announcing is campaign to run for re-election in the U.S. Senate.

"Representing North Dakota in the Senate is the honor of a lifetime. With now six years invested in the Senate I’ve learned to leverage North Dakota’s strengths with America’s needs. I’ve gained the advantage of age in an institution that honors seniority. I’ve learned patience – when appropriate. And urgency when required.[...]" said Cramer in his announcement video. "So with a grateful heart and the sufficiency of God’s grace, with the blessing of our family and the support of Kris – the most incredible woman of faith I know – I will seek the Republican nomination to continue the work we have begun in the United States Senate for North Dakota."

Cramer has been in the Senate since 2018, and is facing a contested race from Katrina Christiansen (NPL) and Kirstin Hedger (Independent).
