Crookston man identified in Monday's serious injury crash near Reynolds

(WDAY Radio) -- Authorities are identifying a man who suffered serious injuries after a crash on I-29 Monday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Richard Kangesier from Crookston was traveling southbound near Reynolds when his vehicle left the road and crashed head-on into a bridge support pillar. He suffered serious injuries, and was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.

The crash remains under investigation.
