(Rugby, ND) -- Former corrections officer Anthony Aadland, who worked at the jail in Rugby, North Dakota, is accused of sexually assaulting two female inmates.

Aadland faces two felony counts of sexual abuse of a ward. Investigators say the alleged assaults occurred in parts of the building without surveillance cameras, and inmates reported that Aadland also showed them inappropriate photos of himself on his cell phone. He has been fired from the jail due to the accusations against him and his arrest.

Aadland's preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for May 13th.
