(Fargo, ND) -- A small reported explosion has caused over a thousand Cass County Electric customers to loose power Saturday evening.
Reports of the incident came in around 8:30 p.m. at the power substation near the intersection of South University Drive and 52nd Avenue South, with both sides of the street's lights shutting off.
As of 9 p.m, nearly 1600 customers were without power.
The outages cause is under investigation.
