(Washington, D.C.) -- The committee investigating last year's Capitol attack wants to talk with House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy. They specifically want to know about the California Republican's conversations with former President Trump "before, during and after" the assault. The panel is asking for McCarthy to voluntarily cooperate. In its request, the committee noted what McCarthy said on the House floor and in a televised interview.
