(Washington, DC) -- Governor Burgum is focusing on expanded broadband at the National Governor's Association meeting.
Burgum spent the weekend in Washington, DC communicating with others in his position, learning new strategies for reaching goals on issues such as disaster response, economics, energy, and education. Burgum says it's important to reach the "last one percent" that doesn't have broadband to help improve educational opportunities, saying the idea has bipartisan support among governors.
President Biden is set to host the governors at the White House Monday.
