(St. Paul, MN) -- Governor Walz is approving funding for Minnesota kids and teen struggling with their mental health.
Walz held a ceremonial signing of an omnibus mental health package Tuesday at Children's Minnesota. The nearly 93-million dollars package will provide funding for programs and initiatives such as loan forgiveness for mental health professionals and adding youth hospital beds. The measure received bipartisan support.
Tens of millions of the funding dollars are going toward mental health initiatives for adults, such as the expansion of mobile crisis units.
