Grand Forks Air Force veteran announces run for North Dakota Legislature

Grand Forks, ND)  --  A candidate who says he is a moderate Republican has announced his run for the North Dakota Legislature.  

Scott Scholfield has his eye on the District 18 seat in the State House.  

Schofield spent 24 years in the Air Force and served as chief of staff of the 319th Reconnaissance Wing from 2022 to 2023.  

He's currently a senior manager at Northrop Grumman at Grand Sky.  

Schofield says his emphasis will be on expanding access to healthcare, diversifying the economy and supporting families.
