The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 a.m. for areas in south central North Dakota.
In addition, a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for a storm located over Venlo, or 41 miles west of Wahpeton, moving northeast at 35 mph. This storm has a history of ping pong ball size hail and 60 miles per hour winds.
