A crash in West Fargo early Thursday evening has sent one person to the hospital.
At approximately 5:43 p.m., West Fargo Police received a report of a suicidal female driving a vehicle in the area of Main Avenue and Fifth Avenue Northwest. A few minutes later, an accident was reported in the 2200 block of Main Avenue West, involving the same female and vehicle.
Witnesses told police they saw the vehicle swerve in front of an eastbound semi, ending up in the south ditch. A second vehicle, behind the semi, was struck by a tire, which came from one of the other vehicles involved.
An unidentified female was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
