UPDATE: According to the North Dakota Department of Health, there was no COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, detected in a UND student after tests performed today (Tuesday, March 10).
As of Tuesday, there are zero confirmed cases of COVID-19 in North Dakota, according to the State Health Department.
ORIGINAL: A student at the University of North Dakota has self-quarantined apart from general populations, pending test results for COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The University says that on March 9, in coordination with the Grand Forks and North Dakota Departments of Health, the student was tested for the possibility of COVID-19. The results are still pending, as of Tuesday morning.
The University plans to issue updates on the situation as more information develops.
