City of Fargo announces closure of all facilities to the public beginning Thursday

 

Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Dr. Tim Mahoney has ordered City of Fargo facilities (including Fargo City Hall) closed to the public beginning tomorrow (March 19) and continuing until further notice.

All City departments are fully implementing their continuity of governmental operational plans with department heads reviewing remote and in-person staffing decisions on a daily basis. Essential City services are operating and members of the public are encouraged to reach out to the City by telephone, email or FargoOne at FargoND.gov/Virtual. The City remains open and ready to serve its citizens. The City’s main line of 701.241.1310 will continue to be answered during normal operating hours.

The City is stressing the importance of utilizing reliable sources of news and data, while encouraging area residents to subscribe to The City of Fargo and Fargo Cass Public Health’s social media channels for ongoing updates.
