Our June 2020 Luther Family Ford Salute to Law Enforcement honoree is Deputy Vince Smith.
Deputy Smith is currently serving as a Corrections Officer at the Cass County Jail. He began in career with Cass County in 1990, serving a little over 20 years exclusively in the former Juvenile Detention center….Vince began working full time in the Adult Jail nearly 7 years ago, after Cass County had combined the and adult and juvenile facilities, and then later transitioned juvenile supervision over to Clay County
It is a testament to the longevity of his career, and his consistent professionalism and effectiveness, that he can maintain such a positive rapport and mutual respect with the adult prisoners that he works with on a daily basis while assuring that those prisoners are safe all well cared for.
