A Grand Forks man has been handed a 40-year sentence for sexually assaulting a teenager multiple times after giving her sleeping pills. George Lyons, 38, will spend 20 years in prison after Grand Forks District Judge John Thelen handed down the sentence. Lyons was found guilty of gross sexual imposition, a Class AA felony. The assaults occurred between July 2009 and January 2010.
