The Senate race between Sen. Heidi Heitkamp and her challenger, Kevin Cramer, is set to ramp up, as three different debates have been scheduled between the two. On October 5, the two will debate in Fargo, in a debate being held by Prairie Public and AARP. Just under two weeks later, on October 18, The North Dakota Newspaper Association will host a debate in Bismarck. The third debate will be on October 26, again in Fargo, hosted by the North Dakota Broadcasters Association. This will be the first debate between the two. Heitkamp is seeking her second term as Senator. Cramer is currently a member of the House of Representatives.
