(Washington, D.C.) -- North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer says a direct conflict with Iran is possible following the deadly Houthi drone attack on the U.S.S. Carney.

It happened on Friday, and the missile fired by the Iranian-backed rebel group killed three service members and injured dozens more. Cramer says such a conflict is possible because the Biden administration hasn't done anything to reduce the possibility of Iran trying to harm the U.S.

He also mentioned one of the wounded is a North Dakota native, who's currently hospitalized in Maryland. Cramer said, "Until Iran takes us seriously, they are going to continue to exploit our weaknesses".
