Fargo Passes Reading of Rezoning Ordinance

The Fargo City Commission passed the first reading of a rezoning ordinance in their regular meeting Monday night. The zoning change will change an area that was originally a multi-dwelling residential area, but, when the last special assessment was done, it was determined that the areas were actually owner-occupied homes. It will significantly affect the residents in those areas. Much discussion was held from the City regarding the situation. The second reading of the policy will come at the next commission meeting.
