Documents reveal more details on Fargo police shooter

(Fargo, ND) --  Newly unsealed documents reveal details about the man who ambushed and shot Fargo police officers last July.

Officer Jake Wallin died in the shooting, two other officers were seriously injured, and the shooter was identified as Mohamad Barakat.

The documents show the FBI received a tip from a woman who said Barakat was mentally unstable, had many weapons, and that she was worried he would become a mass shooter.

They also reveal that Fargo police found guns and ammo during an earlier search of Barakat's home.

Barakat reportedly told officers he had no intention of harming anyone.
