Man struck by train in Moorhead hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

(Moorhead, MN) -- A man struck by a train in Moorhead is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Police responded around 1:20 a.m., finding a stopped train and a man on the north side of the railroad bridge in the area of the 500 block of 1st avenue North. The man was conscious and had non-life-threatening injuries to his right arm and leg.

Authorities believe the man was lying near the tracks in the area when the incident occurred.
