North Dakota school counselor appears on sex charges

(Lakota, ND) — A McVille, North Dakota man, facing charges in connection to allegations of misconduct and sexual assault while employed as a counselor at the Dakota Prairie High School in McVille, has made his initial appearance in Nelson County District Court.

Brendon Thomas Parsley, and his attorney, Mark Friese, took part in his initial appearance in court Friday morning.

The court set the preliminary hearing for April 5.

The judge, Kristi Venhuizen, set bond at $25,000 dollars.

As of Friday morning, Parsley was still listed in the staff directory at Dakota Prairie Public Schools.
