(Bismarck, ND) -- A Bismarck man facing charges for attacking a woman and threatening her has pleaded not guilty.

Police say Jason Levell went to the home of a woman he was dating last December, beat her, and threatened to shoot her in front of her children. Police were called and authorities say Levell fled, throwing a gun he had with him over a fence. Police say Levell is banned from possessing a gun due to a 2022 felony conviction.

Levell faces nine criminal charges, including terrorizing and unlawful possession of a firearm. His trial is set for April 10th.
