(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Uber and Lyft are again threatening to leave Minneapolis over a new driver wage plan.

The City Council has brought back a proposal to raise wages and expand rights for ride share drivers.

Uber and Lyft plan to leave town if the plan moves forward.

The ordinance would pay drivers a minimum of a dollar-and 40 cents per mile and 51 cents per minute while transporting riders within city limits.

Mayor Jacob Frey vetoed a similar plan last year.
