First trial in Feeding Our Future case underway as jury selection starts

(Minneapolis, MN)  --  The first criminal trial of the federal Feeding Our Future case is underway in Minneapolis.  

More than a dozen potential jurors were questioned yesterday in the high-profile meal fraud case.  

No jurors were seated.  

Seven defendants are charged with wire fraud and money laundering among other charges.  

They are accused of serving little or no food and using the federal program's money to buy lakeside houses, luxury cars, and expensive trips.  

The trial could last six weeks.
