(East Grand Forks, MN) -- An East Grand Forks area father is suing an undercover officer who fatally shot his son.
Lucas Gilberton was killed while police were executing a search warrant at a home in Rhinehart Township last month. Bodycam video shows officers entering the home before shots were fired. Gilbertson's father says his son was unarmed at the time. The lawsuit claims undercover officer Aeisso Schrage used "unreasonable excessive deadly force."
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the claim.
