(Burlington, ND) -- A trucker was cited after losing control of his semi on Highway 2 in Ward County, North Dakota Sunday night.
It happened four miles west of Burlington, just after 7 p.m. Troopers say the road was ice and snow covered and 33-year old Gurjeet Sohal of Regina, Saskatchewan was driving too fast for conditions when he lost control of his rig. The semi crossed the median, hit a guard rail and ended up rolling on it’s side across both westbound lanes of Highway 2.
The Highway was shut down for about four and a half hours until the truck and trailer were removed. Sohal was not hurt but was cited for “care required”.
