(Cass County, ND) -- A local deputy is currently on administrative leave following actions taken during a fatal two-vehicle crash on I-94 last week.
The Cass County Sheriff's office says the deputy, who is unnamed at this time, is on administrative leave until an internal investigation is completed. At this time, no criminal charges are pending against the deputy.
"The actions of the deputy, at the time of the fatal crash on Interstate 94 involving two semi tractor-trailers last week, has prompted an internal review regarding their response as it relates to the incident and policy, "said the Sheriff's Office in a statement released to WDAY Radio.
