The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol have now CLOSED I-29 from Grand Forks to Fargo. The closure occurred at 3:30 p.m. today.
The closure means I-29 is now closed from Grand Forks to the North Dakota/South Dakota border.
In addition, the Patrol and D-O-T have closed I-94 from Jamestown to Fargo.
Both portions of the roadway have been closed due to snow and blowing snow, creating near zero visibility and hazardous driving conditions.
A no travel advisory has been issued for east of Jamestown, Hillsboro, Valley City and the surrounding areas due to the conditions.
