Sobriety check and following patrols in Fargo leads to three arrests and multiple citations

(Fargo, ND) -- Two DUI arrests were made during a sobriety checkpoint in Fargo Saturday. One of those drivers also had two warrants for his arrest.

The State Patrol, Cass County Sheriff's Office and Fargo Police set up the checkpoint on northbound I-29 at 19th Avenue between 5:15-6:15 p.m. Troopers say 481 vehicles went through the checkpoint and fourteen drivers were screened for impairment.  Following the checkpoint, officers conducted a saturation patrol.  One more DUI arrest was made. Three people were arrested for Driving Under Suspension, six drug citations were issued, there was one reckless driving arrest, five driving without insurance citations, one seat belt citation, and one open container citation.

In addition, 30 warnings were issued.
