Fire crews put out grain elevator blaze in Fergus Falls

(Fergus Falls, MN) -- Fire crews from several communities battled a grain elevator fire in Fergus Falls Sunday night.

The fire was noticed and reported around 6:30 p.m, with crews keeping the blaze from spreading to other buildings. A shelter-in-place order was issued for the immediate area, as crews were working on putting out the blaze. Authorities say the cause is due to drying soybeans.

Authorities say there were no injuries reported.
