(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Grand Forks Starbucks is aiming to be the first in North Dakota to unionize.

The employees voted 13-10 to join the national Starbucks Workers United, a national union with more than 410 stores and 10,000 workers across 43 states. The union says efforts like the vote in Grand Forks will "win justice at work".

"Right now, unionized workers are fighting for our core demands. Our power is in our numbers, and we will win when Starbucks workers stand up together," said Starbucks Workers United on their website.
