Burnsville officers injured in standoff Saturday

(Burnsville, MN) -- Burnsville, Minnesota police say a woman was arrested and two tactical team members were hurt following a lengthy standoff Saturday night.

Officers responded to reports of a gunshot and determined it came from inside a house. A shelter-in-place order was issued, and nearby homes were evacuated. Negotiation attempts persisted throughout the night. A K9 unit was eventually deployed, and the suspect was arrested. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The injured officers were treated and released.
